Perum Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) Ciamis is one of the management units under the West Java and Banten Regional Division of Perum Perhutani.
The working area of KPH Ciamis, as stated in Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 and outlined in the Long-Term Forest Management Plan (RPKH), covers a total of 30,606.25 hectares. This area falls within the administrative regions of Ciamis Regency (12,853.20 ha), Banjar City (1,020.52 ha), and Pangandaran Regency (16,732.53 ha), in the province of West Java, with the following boundaries:

• North side                 : Borders with KPH Majalengka and KPH Kuningan
• East side                    : Borders with KPH West Banyumas, Central Java Regional Division
• South side                 : Borders with the Indian Ocean
• West side                  : Borders with KPH Tasikmalaya

Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH Ciamis is divided into two Business Classes (KP): Pine Business Class covering 5,828.36 hectares and Teak Business Class covering 24,777.89 hectares.

Forest Functions :

• Limited Production Forest (HPT) < 15 %     covering an area of  1.896,54 Ha,
• HPT > 15 %                                                          covering an area of 8.730,97 Ha,
• Production Forest (HP)                                    covering an area of  19.979,74Ha

Based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010, Perum Perhutani KPH Ciamis is divided into several Forest Areas (BH) :

1. BH Ciamis covering an area of 5.828,36 Ha
2. BH Banjar CA covering an area of 8.507,39 Ha
3. BH Pangandaran covering an area of 6.880,67 Ha
4. BH Cijulang covering an area of 9.389,83 Ha

Based on its management area, KPH Ciamis consists of 5 Forest Management Unit Sections (BKPH) and 17 Forest Management Unit Resorts (RPH), with the following breakdown :

• BKPH Ciamis = 5.828,36 Ha
