Perhutani KPH South Kedu |

Perum Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) Kedu Selatan is one of the management units under the Central Java Regional Division of Perum Perhutani.

The working area of KPH Kedu Selatan, based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 and in accordance with the Long-Term Forest Management Plan (RPKH) for the period 2024–2033 (Minister of Environment and Forestry Decree No. SK.13037/MenLHK PHK/PUPH/HPL.1/12/2023), covers an area of 44,930.91 hectares. This area falls within the administrative regions of several regencies and cities, namely: Banjarnegara Regency (5,611.47 ha), Banyumas Regency (2,903.95 ha), Kebumen Regency (18,853.56 ha), Purworejo Regency (8,956.61 ha), and Wonosobo Regency (8,605.32 ha), with the following boundaries :

North side : Borders with KPH North Kedu
East side : Borders with the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province
South side : Borders with the Indian Ocean
West side : Borders with KPH East Banyumas

Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH South Kedu is divided into two Business Classes (KP): Teak Business Class (KP Jati) covering 4,260.04 hectares and Pine Business Class (KP Pinus) covering 40,670.87 hectares.

Forest Functions :

Restricted Production Forest (HPT) < 15 % covering an area of 25.911,03 Ha,
HPT > 15 % covering an area of 6.830,12 Ha,
Production Forest (HP) covering an area of 7.944,25 Ha
Protected Forest (HL) covering an area of 4.245,51 Ha.

Based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 and in accordance with the Long-Term Forest Management Plan (RPKH) for the period 2024–2033, KPH Kedu Selatan is divided into several Forest Areas (BH):

BH South Gombong covering an area of 4.260,04 Ha
BH North Gombong covering an area of 12.346,2 H
BH Midangan Sapuran covering an area of 10.565,89 Ha
BH Wadaslintang covering an area of 17.758,78 Ha

Based on its management area, KPH South Kedu consists of 7 Forest Management Unit Sections (BKPH) and 31 Forest Management Unit Resorts (RPH), with the following breakdown:
