Perum Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) North Banyuwangi is one of the management units within the Perum Perhutani Regional Division of East Java.

The working area of KPH North Banyuwangi, based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 concerning the State Forestry Public Corporation (Perum), covers 50,549.297 hectares and is located within the administrative regions of Banyuwangi Regency (28,176.87 ha), East Java Province (and Situbondo Regency, East Java Province), with the following territorial boundaries :

• North side                : Borders with the Madura Strait
• East side                   : Borders with the Bali Strait
• South side                : Borders with the forest area of KPH West Banyuwangi
• West side                 : Borders with the forest area of KPH Bondowoso

Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH North Banyuwangi is divided into two Forest Sections (BH): Alas Buluh – Gombeng and Northeast Kendeng, with a Teak Enterprise Class (KP) covering 22,573.45 hectares and Protected Forest (HL) covering 27,975.84 hectares.

• Limited Production Forest (HPT) < 15 %       : 2.739,299 Ha,
• HPT > 15 %                                                           : 19.834,15 Ha,
• Forest Production (HP)                                     : 22.573,45 Ha
• Protected Forest (HL)                                        : 27.975,84 Ha.

2. BH  Kendeng Northeast     : 22.372,42 Ha

Based on the management area, KPH North Banyuwangi consists of 4 Forest Management Subunits (BKPH) and 8 Forest Management Resorts (RPH), with the following details:

1. BKPH Ketapang    =  724,14 Ha

• RPH Gombeng  =  870,55 Ha
• RPH Selogiri      =  853,59 Ha

2. BKPH Watudodol  = 11.102,02 Ha

• RPH Bangsring  =   152,93 Ha
• RPH Alasbulh     =   949,09 Ha

3. BKPH Bajulmati  = 11.350,71 Ha

• RPH Bajulmati       =   050,14 Ha
• RPH Gunungwaru =   300,57 Ha

4. BKPH Asembagus = 22.372,42 Ha

• RPH Asembagus  =   994,90 Ha
• RPH Sumberejo   = 14.377,52 Ha
