Perum Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) Pasuruan, is one of the East Java Regional Division Management Units, with a 31,988.80 Ha forest area and domiciled on Jl. Canal Kawi No. 1 Malang, Klojen District, Malang Regency.
Based on the administrative division of the territory, the KPH Pasuruan forest area is in the area of East Java Province, which involves 3 (three) districts:
- Malang Regency (± 154.9 Ha), which is ± 0.044% of Malang Regency’s total area of ± 353.486 Ha. There is only one sub-district and one village located around the forest, Lawang Sub-district and Wonorejo Village.
- Pasuruan Regency (± 24,274.40 Ha), which is ± 16 % of Pasuruan Regency’s total area of ± 147,401.5 Ha, covering 15 sub-districts (about 80 villages around the forest), i.e., Gempol, Pandaan, Purwodadi, Tutur, Pasrepan, Wonorejo, Purwosari, Tosari, Winongan, Lumbang, Grati, Nguling, Kejayan, Prigen, and Puspo.
- Mojokerto Regency (+ 7,559.50 Ha), which is + 8% of Mojokerto Regency’s total area of + 96,936 Ha, covering three sub-districts (about 21 villages around the forest),i.e., Jatirejo, Gondang and Pacet.
Based on its working area, KPH Pasuruan forest management is divided into 2 (two) Company Classes (KP):
KP Pine covers an area of 23,692.2 Ha, and KP Teak covers an area of 8,296.6 Ha and consists of 7 (seven) forest sections (BH) with the following details:
KP Teak consists of 2 BH and 2 BKPH:
- BH Jatirejo: BKPH Jatirejo area: 4,340.80 Ha.
- BH Pasuruan: BKPH Pasuruan area: 3,955.80 Ha.
KP Pine consists of 5 BH and 5 BKPH:
- BH Tretes : BKPH Lawang Barat covering an area of : 3,696.50 Ha.
- BH Penanggungan: BKPH Penanggungan area: 3,513.50 Ha.
- BH Pacet: BKPH Pacet area: 3,218.70 Ha.
- BH Nongkojajar : BKPH East Lawangarea: 5,064.80 Ha.
- BH Tosari : BKPH Tosari area: 8,199.00 Ha.
